FAQ

Will I really be locked in room?

No, doors are not locked. Although the door is closed, if an emergency does arise and you need to leave, you may do so. You will also be in constant contact with your game master if you need assistance.

How many players can play?

Each escape room experience is different and hold different capacities. The max players is listed with each game description. Please call to book if your group size exceeds the max players for that game so we may accomodate your group.

When should I arrive?

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior your scheduled time to fill out your waiver and listen to your game master's room briefing. The game starts at the time you signed up for so we need you to arrive a few minutes early to complete everything. If you arrive late, time will be deducted from your game. There are NO REFUNDS..

Are games private, or are other players in the room?

Right now, all Solve It Sherlock games are 100% private. You will not be playing with strangers.

What is your cancellation policy?

All sales are final, but you may choose to purchase escape game cancellation protection for $3 per ticket at the time of booking which allows a full refund up to 48 hrs before the game. If you cancel with less than 48 hrs, we can reschedule the game or issue store credit that never expires. All tickets are transferable.

Are mobile phones permitted?

You may bring your cell phones in the room with you, but you may not use them to take photos or video. The game master will instruct you prior to the game if you can use it as a flashlight if needed.

I’m a little claustrophobic, will I be okay?

Our rooms are the same size as any regular room, and if you ever need any assistance, our game masters are watching at all times. Many of our rooms don't have ceilings and can give the feeling of a much larger open space. In some cases, we have left the door open for players to be more relaxed. Also, feel free to give us a call about a specific room if you’re really concerned.

What changes have you made post Covid-19?

We clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces daily in our games. We have also installed air purifiers in each game and lobby.

Is alcohol allowed?

The consumption of alcohol on our premises is strictly prohibited, and service will be denied to anyone noticeably intoxicated and will not be entitled to a refund. Besides, this is a game of wit, you will need all your faculties to succeed so save the drinking for afterwards.

What are the age requrements?

If you are under 12 years of age, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you are under 18 years of age and are coming without a parent or guardian, you will need to fill out a waiver before arriving. Although our games are family friendly, there are some themes that may not be enjoyed by our younger players due to difficulty level or low light/creepy vibes. Please call before booking to see which game is right for you team.

Are you handicap accessible?

Our rooms are handicap accessible although some games are better suited for wheelchairs. It may not be possible for you to reach all of the clues, but that won't prevent you from being able to solve any of them! Please call ahead so we can guide you into the room that is best for your particular handicap. Our games are spread out on 2 floors. We have street level access on each level, but please call ahead so we can direct you which entrance will work best.
SERVICE DOGS: Please email us if you will be bringing a Service Dog so that we can ensure that we are accommodating you.

Do I need a reservation?

No, a reservation is not necessary, but highly recommended! Each game has a set start time and may be already be booked when you walk in. We recommend booking ahead of time or please give us a call about 30 minutes before you plan to come to ensure there is a game available.

How do i book?

Please use the "Book Now" link above. Select the escape room experience you would like to play and then select from the list of available date/times. If you would like to book a slot outside our normal hours, please call or email us for room availability.

Do you have parking?

Yes! Our location is in the rear of the building and has a private parking lot.

How long do escape rooms take?

+

All games at Solve It Sherlock are 60 minutes. We do ask you you arrive 10 min before your game begins to go over rules and the storyline. This will ensure you can utilize the full 60 minutes solving puzzles and making your escape.
